Our Story
Get Sober Spokane was born from a personal journey of recovery and a deep desire to help others find their path to sobriety.
During my time in the recovery program at the Union Gospel Mission (UGM), I experienced firsthand the transformative power of community support and the importance of having resources readily available during the recovery process. It was during this period of healing and growth that the vision for Get Sober Spokane took shape.
In my free time, I began building this website with a simple yet powerful mission: to create a comprehensive digital community where sober-minded individuals could connect, find resources, and support each other on their journey to lasting recovery.
What started as a personal project has grown into a vital resource for the Spokane recovery community, providing access to treatment options, support groups, housing resources, employment opportunities, and most importantly, a network of people who understand the challenges and triumphs of the recovery journey.
